My husband has been on the road since Monday. Today he was heading home from TX and blew a tire. Got that fixed. Then his truck broke down! They can't fix it until Monday, so they put him up in a motel in Baton Rouge. He's bored and frustrated!!! I told him there's nothing that can be done about it, so try to make the best of it. Watch some football and enjoy not having interruptions. :-)
Tomorrow another driver will be passing reasonably near there and will pick him up, they'll drive the 8 hrs back here, then he has to turn around and leave the next day with another driver to get dropped off at Baton Rouge on Monday.
Again, POOR HUBBY!

Not fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd...my accident story is going to be sooooo long. If you miss Part 3, you can catch up with Part 4 when you get home from the hospital. Which I hope is fast without complications!
ReplyDeleteNothing worse than wanting to be home and can't get there fast enough. Hopefully he'll get some rest before heading out again.
ReplyDeleteya, that sounds miserable!
ReplyDeleteYou seem like such a caring person,...and a happy one too. I do hope all goes well for you in the hospital.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that your hubby had such troubles on the road. Maybe he will enjoy the time with the guy that is picking him up. Everything happens for a reason they say.
Have a good day.

Yes, very poor hubby!
ReplyDelete..... Regarding your comment on my post (copied here)...
"Okay, I'm stuck on the part where you want SHELVES in your PANTIES!!!"
That's what you said, Lynnette. "This PANTY would be so wonderful if it had shelves!"
Man, some spelling errors are just hysterical! Love it!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That had me cracking up! I told my family, I need to stop blogging after midnight because my brain is mostly dead by then! ha! I woke up and corrected about 5 errors and didn't even see that one.
Thanks for the laugh - now off to fix my error.
Love ya!
Lynnette
We just watched movies on his laptop. I got really close to the window when ever we got a call but it was usualy dropped. I'm a full time student so I was able to take time off to be with him when we had a sitter. When do you go in?
ReplyDeleteVanderbilt will feed your poor stranded hubby really well if he stays with you. I hope he gets home soon!
So sorry about your hubby's inconvenient down time away from home. BUT, to be honest, when this type of problem occurs, I feel that there is something down the road from which the Lord is protecting me.
