I have met so many great people through my blog. When you aren’t out and about much, that’s a big thing. It’s my connection with the world.
Other than my many doctor appointments, you all are my social life! Don’t say “That’s sad!” or you’re saying you all aren’t important and you are!
That said, I am thinking about taking my blog Private. The only reason is this: I made the mistake of using all of our first names in my blog. And I have discovered that Ryan’s birth-mother is looking for him/us and I’m afraid she could find us through this blog. Ryan has been having some problems recently and this is definitely not a good time for his birth-mother to make contact with him.
I haven’t been blogging as much lately because I’ve been trying to figure out what to do, but the wisest thing is to go Private. I hope I won’t lose a lot of you.
Please let me know if you would like to follow my blog Privately and send me an email with your email address. I won’t make the change until the end of the month, for those who don’t check blogs very frequently.

I'd love to be invited to read Debbie!

I would definitely still love the opportunity to follow your blog and stay connected. I will send you an email with my email address (instead of posting it on here). Thanks and I'll be praying that everything works out with Ryan and his birth mother.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be allowed to follow.

I am sorry that you are under some stress right now concerning the birth mother, but you do need to protect your son until he is able to handle it....I understand. We have a 17 year old granddaughter who was adopted and I don't think she is mature enough to go through any of that in her life right now. But maybe someday when she is an adult if that situation came up.
I will pray for you.
Love in Christ,

I understand your reasoning, and would do the same thing. Invite me, please!

ReplyDeleteI would love to continue reading your blog, if you'll have me. Although I cannot comment often, I still read each post. I usually read from my cell phone & cannot make comments on it. I need an upgraded phone. That will happen after I take care of all my other expenses...in the year 2050.
ReplyDeletePlease forgive my long absence...I also am struggling to keep up these days. Thankfully, nothing is wrong!
ReplyDeleteI am so sad to hear how bad you are feeling these days. I pray that you will feel the Lords comfort and you will feel better soon. I am praying for an improvement in your finances so that you will get the care that you need.
I would love to keep following.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving my friend.

Wow, I am glad I got in just under the wire. I totally understand the indecision concerning blogging. Blogging is also my main socialization - That is just the way it is - I too do not want sympathy. For someone to sympathize they would not see the blessing which my family has been given. Unnfortunately I have had to cut back due to doctor visits for hubby and daughter.
ReplyDeleteCount me in as wanting to check in with you if you go private.
May God grant you and your family the protection which you need.
