Heading through the Battlfield

Driving to the hospital yesterday, I had to drive through our local Battlefield. It's very pretty and peaceful, which is the opposite of what it once must have been.

I saw some deer in a field near the road, but couldn't stop to get their pic.

I did stop and quickly snap these two pictures through my car window.

Pretty drive and it only took me about 10 min. to get to the hospital!
