Isn't he adorable?
He just turned 42 years old on 6/19. He started out at a circus and came to the Chattanooga Zoo in 1976. He is treated very special because...he is special! He has his own large habitat, separate from the other chimpanzees. He has his own bed and each night gets TUCKED IN under the covers. What a hoot!
They had a day long birthday party for him and Ryan said he received over 50 gifts. One of the ZooKeepers Hank is most attached to gave him a Tickle-Me-Elmo doll and Hank just loves it. He also got one of those Little Tyke Coupe Cars to drive around. That is one spoiled Chimp. He is very affectionate with the staff that are allowed to enter his domain. The other week he greeted Ryan with a hug, gave him a sloppy kiss and then promptly grabbed his nipple and twisted it! Owwww!

You might have already found her obituary in the Lancaster newspaper, but if you haven't, it is listed. Her funeral is July 3 at Calvary Church
