How I'm dealing with the rash/ Another prayer request

First of all, my rash is driving me CRAZY at this point. The back of my neck up into my scalp is the worst. Usually it's the bra area and I've tried going w/o one, but my boobs have gotten too big and heavy with age (I'm assuming with age, because I was nearly flat when we were first married!) and they really hurt when I go braless. (Is this TMI?) So, this AM I tried to find something I could bind myself with, but nothing would work. Plan B: I put on a tight sleeveless shell with a mock t-nk. It helps keeping clothes from rubbing against the rash, which makes it worse. Then the shell wasn't enough support for the BOSOM, so I put a bra on OVER the shell. At least it isn't chaffing like it was. Needless to say, I can't walk around the house like THIS

{Okay, I deleted the picture from here. I realized it would show up on Dashboards and that was "too much exposure" for me! So use your imagination! hehe!}

when I have a 14 year old son in the house. So I put a nice soft sweatshirt of my husbands overtop.

Misty, I bet you never modeled underwear like this! lol

MamaBelle, I guess this doesn't fall under your "Dare to Wear", huh?

Anyway, it's working...except for my neck. My neck is really itching like crazy and is swollen below the rash.

Please pray for Alan Henley and his wife, Jen. They are friends of Megan at Hold It Up to the Light. Instead of going into the story, it's best to read it on Alan's Caring Bridge site. Jen's last few posts have been breaking my heart and they can surely use your prayers. Or perhaps you know of someone in that area that can be of help to them.

  1. Why do you have a rash? I hope the prednisone helps. Whenever I got rashes from meds, it would take a good 2 weeks to go away, even with prednisone. It's horrible!!!!
