back board breaking

Last night I took my son to Karate.

Every couple of years they do a board breaking class, but since R has only been going for just over a year he hasn't had the opportunity to do it yet. He was very excited!

Sensei showed them how to do it and gave them choices of which part of their body to use. R chose his arm. He was so thrilled when we broke it on his first try!!!!

I took these when we got home and he'd already changed. What a lousy mom I am! I took my camera along to Karate, but there was another mother there with an Autistic child R's age and she was telling me what fun things are available for them in the area. We were watching the board-breaking at the same time and clapping, but I just forgot about the camera on my lap!

When I was taking these pictures R said "Here, take one for "those blogger people!". So here you are, you "blogger people!"
