Memory Lane and George

Excuse the picture quality, here, but this picture was taken years ago with an old and free digital camera.

You see, the first Dell computer that I ordered (years ago) got lost. It was signed in at our post office but never seen after that. Then Dell sent me a replacement one and a bill for BOTH! I don't THINK so! Their apology for the whole mess was a free camera. What do you expect from a free camera? I was thrilled it was a digital, tho, even if it was more like something Fisher Price would put out. lol

Anyway...to the picture...my son has this gift with animals. He likes them and they don't seem to fear him. He saw this baby bunny in our yard in Pennsylvania and, as you can see, the bunny let him pet it. There was no mother around. R watched it for a while and decided he'd better take care of it.

He named it George.

Here is George as he got a little bigger.

(That isn't a real flag, it's a scarf. I don't want hate mail, thinking we used an American flag for bedding!)

Eventually R let him free in our back yard and he found a "friend" and had babies of his own. When he was grown up he would still let R sit next to him on the grass and pet him.
