Since I cheated when I posted the last Pear Trees, I stepped outside this morning and shot my neighbors blossoms:

I've been trying to find a new Internist and it's very frustrating. Our old one left and we didn't like his office at all anyhow. But no one that I call on the BC/BS list will accept out lousy insurance. I found one that did, but they won't take Medicare, which is my primary. Ahhhh! I really need a PCP.

I got it so that my son can be tutored by webcam because the tutor is sick a lot and concerned about bringing her germs here.
My son is having a lot of fun playing with it. Me...not so much. I am one of those people who avoids getting their picture taken. I do not photograph well and since I've gained weight it is even worse. They should make webcams that take off about 20 lbs. I've talked to my mom on it and have to say it is VERY DEPRESSING to see myself on the screen!
I guess if I put makeup on and did my hair it would help (but not much). I'm going to do that now so I can go get my allergy shot, then take R to Karate.

Your picture of the pear blossoms is really pretty. Good luck wiht the internest. It can be so hard to find a good Dr that accepts your insurance!

ReplyDeleteI'll be praying that you find a good doc. I still don't have a pcp, and my transplant coordinator keeps saying that I need one. Grrr... Don't we have enough "ologist" that we shouldn't need someone that doesn't specialize in ANYthing? LOL.
Webcams are definitely fun, but man.. when I have the prednisone moonface, my face just about takes up the entire screen. You know if they can invent a camera that takes off 10 lbs instead of adding it, then maybe actresses wouldn't have to starve themselves. :)
It is beautiful here too. And you did good on the pictures.

I hear you on this Georgia insurance....I had BC/BS but the state changed to UHC....and I don't like our plan! The weather was very nice today....I am ready for it to dtay this way.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you found a web cam...I have one on my laptop (built in)....I have never used it because once I am home, I choose not to see anyone on the "outside!"
Soak up some vitamin D for me while you are at it since mine has been low. I learned in the CF conference I attended that CF patients tend to be deficient in vitamin D! Keep getting as much as you can, while you can since the weather changes so often!

I am totally there with you on the webcam...no way, no how! Some of my bloggy friends are trying to get me to vlog (video blog) and I am resisting the idea very much! It is not a good look for me at all.
