Hot potato tomato

We finally have some ripening tomatoes on our deck plants.


When I went out to take a picture for you today, I got this:



The heat index is 105 and climbing, the humidity fogging up the camera lense.


I wiped off my lense and tried again.

Don't you just love Nicholas Spark's stories? I'm listening to one of his audio's "The Lucky One". It is so good! I love the audio's because his books have such great character's and the person they hire to do the audio does so great with the voices and accents and feelings. It's like being right there.


I hate to go out in this heat but I need to go pick up some prescriptions. At least I can listen to my great book while I'm driving!

    Oh, isn't it hard to breathe in that humidity??? We're supposed to get hot and humid too this week. It was great for a few days, now more heat. I do love his books too, I've read a lot of them. Haven't listened to any on tape tho, will have to try it!

    it is horribly hot here too and very high humidity. when I step outside, my glasses fog up. yuck!
