10 things/Award

Thank you to Cindy for the Enlightenment Tag and Amanda for the Honest Scrap Award!


The rules of the award are:

Here are my 10 things.

1. I’m much more practical than romantic.
2. I’m more of a saver than a spender.
3. I hate coffee, mushrooms and black olives.
4. When I was 16 years old (1976) I bought my first car for $400. It was a HUGE boat of a car- I think a Chrysler 300 or 400?? Metallic gold and ugly as sin, but it was paid for and mine!
5. My first job was in the kitchen of a nursing home, making about $1.25/hr.
6. Presently my favorite programs are Biggest Loser, Monk, Food Network Challenge and Ace of Cakes.
7. I hate sports.
8. I’d love to go on Dr. Charles Stanley’s cruise before I die. (Duh, obviously not AFTER I die!)
9. I spend so much time alone that I often forget how to converse. I will avoid situations where I will have to have a conversation because I don’t know what to say.
10. I’ve had 3 toenails removed.

Okay, in all fairness, I didn't tag anyone when I got my last award from Megan, so I shouldn't tag anyone with this one. Hey, if you want to grab the button and list your 10 things, I'm fine with that. I just don't like to make people feel obligated to name others. Too much like when the vacuum or video salespeople call and ask you to give them your friends names!!!!
