I'm giving up!

Well, I have been working and working on my new blog look. It's kind of funny because when I went to bed last night I was thinking "I can't believe I can do this!". Now I'm thinking "I can't believe I thought I could do this!".

I've worked and worked on the 3-column and color background part and just can't get it. I get it to 3-column and then there are no margins and no color. I get the color and it's all off=center and not 3-column. I can't work on it anymore, at least for a while.

I'm not feeling that great today, anyhow. Last night my throat started hurting and my glands felt tender and it's continued today with fatigue and occasional dizziness. Some stomach upset, but then my throat is too sore to eat anyway. Must be viral-related, but it's discouraging.

I'm mostly discouraged about the blog, though. After spending a few hours messing with it I'm not any closer.

Our NOAA radio has gone off about 4 times this afternoon with severe weather and tornado watch warnings.

So...what is everyone doing for Valentines? Anything special? I'd like to hear your plans! If I can the energy I would do a Mr. Linky thing, but I'll be happy if you mention it in your comment.

Thanks, everyone, who has pitched in with links and helps for my new blog makeover. (I feel like I let you down!) You people who can do this are AMAZING!)

  1. Hey, lady, if you want I can play with it for you...I have had some luck with playing with margins, colors, 3-column layouts etc. Let me know! :)

  2. Don't get discouraged. If you want a new look then send Emily @ Blog Neccesities a note and she can help you. She gave me a blog makeover and I am so glad that she did. Her link is on my blog. If you need help let me know.

  4. About the love dare... My recommendation is for both of you to read the book. When you are together take time to do the "dares" in order (one per day). When you are away make a point to continue ha having healthy conversations and praying for each other.

If your hubby is resistant, you can do the dare on your own-- that is how the guy did it in the movie.

    Hope this helps.
