Let's hear it for creativity!

Today while I was sleeping a few hours - yes, in the middle of the day! I'm sick with a virus, not lazy! - my son went out to the woods to play.

So he left me a note.

Anyone who is familiar with Aspergers knows that fine motor skills are usually a problem. My son will do anything to get out of handwriting.

This is his note:

Can you see the note? (He picked me more daffodils and added to the arrangement.)

(Those are sandwich bag twisties.)

  6. That is just so sweet. I am so happy you got a picture.

Dear friends of ours have a twelve year old daughter who has Aspergers, so I knew exactly what you were talking about with your sons' motor skills.

Hope your computer is healed soon!
